RMYC is a remote control sailing club located in Glen Allen, Virginia and just outside of the Richmond metro area.  RMYC is governed by its Bylaws and is a member of the American Model Yacht Association (AMYA).  Membership is $20 annually and may be paid through the RMYC Membership form.

The DragonFlite 95 is the primary class boat we race, but several members also enjoy building and sailing  yachts from the RG65 and IOM classes.  The racing is competative but friendly and  members welcome newcomers  despite their previous yacht racing experience level.  DF95's are purchased as a kit, but it can be easily assembled and be ready to sail in 1-2 hours. The Club even has a loaner boat that can allow interested sailors a chance to sail these responsive yachts before they buy.
